Publication: CFD Simulation

We are delighted that two research contributions related to the Hylley project were presented at this year's Conference on Thermo- and Fluid Dynamics of Clean Propulsion Power Plants.

Stefan Plöckinger presented a paper entitled 'Combined Numerical and Experimental Study of Mixture Formation Strategies and their Impact on Anomalies in Heavy-Duty PFI Hydrogen ICE' during a poster session. This provided insights into mixture formation and combustion anomalies in hydrogen engines.

The conference offered a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with the international research community and discuss the future of clean propulsion technologies. A special thank you to CMT–Clean Mobility & Thermofluids (UPV) and Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) for organising and hosting THIESEL 2026, and to everyone who joined the inspiring discussions!
